"Technically the house was"clean" but it's grimy. The doors and floors all needed a deep clean. One of the showers had a curtain with red mold stains. The AC could not cool the upstairs properly, and the 3rd floor was excessively hot. The wall to wall carpet on the second floor was smelly. The living room was lacking seating for adults. I wouldn't recommend this house for a family get together, but maybe it would be fine for a bachelor party. The listing said there was one bedroom with a king....

"We could not find location in dark and rain. Only given GPS info and no name of hotel or property. Once we arrived guard at guardhouse could not assist as we could not affirm name. When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. "

"Lovely place, convenient to New York trains and Westchester locations."

"We had a wonderful time visiting NY for my 2 grandchildren’s graduation celebrations. The house was spacious & very comfortable for our family of 11 & my sweet pup. If the opportunity comes again to visit NY this house would be 1st on our list. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"The guests staying on the floor above could be heard walking around. The ceiling was not very insulative in the Rockland Building."

"Excellent hot breakfast. I loved the fact that even being a buffet it was served by the personnel which talks about caring and healthy consideration. Room was clean, comfortable big and enough for the four of us. Parking was easy and just at the room's door. Staff was nice and helpful. The caveat was the wifi not working properly for us, probably signal not good enough since we were at the further distance from the lobby."

"Bear Mountain Inn is a unique and beautiful retreat in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We go for the scenery, hiking, and watching the marine and rail traffic along the Hudson River. Staff is always helpful. We booked 2 nights but could only. stay 1 due to a family emergency and the staff worked with Expedia to refund the 2nd night. Will definitely return as we love the atmosphere. Stayed in 1 of the stone cottages in the woods above the lake. Basic room with a shared common area and outdoor...

"The room was dirty, especially the bathroom. We have stayed at Hampton Inns all over the country & this was by far the worst. The staff was polite and helpful but I would not stay at this particular hotel again."
