"Our first time in Detroit and had a wonderful time. The location of this hotel was excellent! It was walking distance to everything in downtown. There were many great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. Jay from the front desk checked us in earlier and we were very appreciative. We really liked how big the suite was. We will definitely stay here again."

"Room appeared clean but within 5 mins of walking on the floor with no shoes our feet were black. The shower needed a deep clean as well as the tile. The tv remote didn’t have a back and the batteries were held in with janky tape. The NBA finals were happening during our stay and we were looking forward to getting some take out and watching them as we flew out the following day. The hotel doesn’t have a contract with ABC for special events and despite being offered options to stream the game on our phones and cast it to the tv, none would work. We were pretty disappointed. That’s really the only negative. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable lobby. Beds and towels were clean. We’d stay here again. Excellent choice for a Lions or Tigers game."

"I was here for a convention so the location can't be beat. The hotel has been recently updated so all the rooms are new, they kept some of the older closets which are clean and newly painted. One really weird and annoying in room item is the movement activated light. I'm sure someone thought it was a good idea but it turns on to movement in the middle of the night which was not helpful. The service was outstanding; everyone was very friendly and helpful. The batteries on the in room safe were dead and they fixed it immediately Highly recommend"
