"We reserved this home several months in advance for the weekend we were moving our daughter into college. Overall, the inside of the home worked really well for what we needed, and we appreciated having two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and plenty of space to spread out. Compared with staying in a hotel, having a full home was definitely a nice convenience.Our biggest frustration was check-in. We had received emails and notifications stating that the access information would be sent a few hours before arrival, but we never received it. We were already more than two hours past the listed check-in time and on our way to the house when I realized we still had no way to get in. I messaged and called the owner, reached voicemail, and eventually contacted Vrbo support because I wasn’t sure what else to do. About 30 minutes later, the owner responded and then sent the access code a few minutes after that. Once we had the code, getting into the home was easy, but it made arrival more stressful than it needed to be.The exterior of the property is a little worn, but the inside was comfortable and worked well for our stay.One thing I think could be made clearer in the listing is that there are residents living in the upstairs portion of the home. Sound carries quite a bit between the two spaces. We could hear footsteps and movement very clearly, and the television upstairs was loud enough at times that it sounded like it was playing in our own space. The house information list"

"The cabin was very clean, cozy, and peaceful! So relaxing being by the river. The kids loved kayaking. Loved that the cabin was out of town and had privacy. The host was very friendly and was timely on responses. We had to come down for my uncle's funeral and we realized that our family was from the same area as the host. Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin! We plan on staying again in the future!"
