" We love the location and have stayed here on a few occasions. We love how the hotel is so pet friendly. It’s accessible to Bournemouth and Swanage, plenty of walks from the hotel and close to the beach (especially for an early morning/ evening swim). Our dinner was lovely and the breakfast is plentiful. "

"First class greeting and everything made so easy. The staff were friendly and efficient the hotel is kept very clean. My room looked as if it had been recently refurbished and the facilities were very good. I would certainly return and thank everyone for making my stay a pleasant one."

"We used the hotel for a bride and groom and some guests. We didn’t use the Duchess for the wedding ceremony, but the staff were very happy to make a special occasion for the happy couple. They also accommodated a large party of guests and non-guests for brunch the next day. Parking is easy and free. The hotel is modern and stylish, with lots of extra welcoming touches. We liked the mini books in the room and option of a rainfall or power shower. A really great place to stay. "

"The room was amazing!! We had a great time exploring around the town. The parking was a little tricky but being there on a weekend meant we were able to use the additional parking from the business next door. "

"Lovely historic hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff, good food and bar, easy parking. All great. Only suggestion for improvement was brighter bedside lights for reading. But loved our stay!"

"The room was very clean. The building itself is very old but is kept in a very clean condition. The staff were friendly, attentive nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good as there was so many gluten free options to choose from and it was cooked to perfection. Parking was at the back of the hotel and felt safe at all times. This is an Ideal location for visiting the town with so much choice of places to eat. "
