"Was pleasant. Whilst by a busyish road, restaurant and bar at rear overlooking river with wildlife which was pleasant. Restaurant had a brief but competent menu, with several vegetarian/ vegan options. Very friendly staff. Room was small in terms of floorspace but otherwise perfectly comfortable with bath and good sized bed. Cooked buffet breakfast. Felt modern overall. Would be happy to stay again "

"Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. The food onsite is good whether you require breakfast or a meal. The room was well equipped and it suited me as a solo traveller very well. "
