"Absolutely delightful. Check in clerk was fantastic. Best decorated hotel anywhere. So clean. Bed was super comfy. The little details were so nice. And the ease of access to hot tub was a great feature. The included breakfast is NOT your typical continental breakfast, on a Sunday at least. I would call it the buffet of 100 selections. Great coffee. Des Lux will be our go to hotel in Des Moines. "

"Great property conveniently located in the middle of East Village. Quick walk to bars and restaurants both there and in downtown area. Free daily breakfast was a bonus and also delicious. The pool and hot tub are great as well."

"Hreat breakfast! Friendly desk staff. The only negative was that the hot tub wasn't hot enough (mote like a warm bath) and the water in the pool was very chilly. Everything else was excellent!"

"Staff was great. Hotel was pretty clean, but not perfect. Our first night, our AC hardly worked and the bed was rock hard, so we switched rooms. Second night was much better. "
