"Very poor value for money. First, the check in was problematic because the owner was not around so we didn't know what to do. The property's location is very far from the center of town - 30 minutes by bus! Finally they were refurbishing the property so it felt a bit unsafe to leave the car in the yard for fear of falling objects. Worse of all, we were not warned abot said construction work and the builders started working at 8 AM so obviously we weren't able to sleep! We were offered no compensation! We can say the place is clean and the shower is good"

"The hotel was the perfect place for me and my family to stay after driving to Edinburgh and arriving in the late evening. We were met by welcoming and friendly staff who quickly got us to our romm and helped with any questions. They even brought a fridge to our room. The bar was open late which gave me a chance to relax over a beer before bedl. thank you to the staff and management of the Best Western Kings Manor. The Konkens"

"We had a lovely stay at The Linton Hotel. The staff was great and super helpful and their full breakfast was so good! It is an early breakfast during the week, but it actually helped us organise better as we probably would overslept :P Rooms are clean and quiet. All I could hear was bird songs in the morning. We did book 2 different rooms during our stay as we went away for 2 days and back to East Linton. Some rooms can be small but I do think for the price and location, it was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable. We slept very well. There are wonderful walks around East Linton and we look forward to come back and stay with them. Thank you. "
