It was a wonderful, yet too brief, one night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our meal in the informal dining/pub options was nourishing and delicious. The room was clean, large, and bright. We were able to get a room facing back garden and with views. A big pot of tea and a freshly pressed coffee were very nice at breakfast. Local walks on the moor, and to the quarry & rocks and were fab.

Needed an ace to stay one night while traveling. The hot was very accommodating for our late check in.

It's a beautiful place with a beautiful room in a spectacular area . And a very helpful staff. The food was a bit underwhelming compared to what we were expecting.

This was one of the best stays that I’ve experienced in a while. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly upon arrival and were happy to answer any questions. I was traveling alone with two children and the staff were intuitive and accommodating. The food was phenomenal and the breakfast the next morning was really good as well.

This was my wife's first trip to Devon and she truly fell in love with this beautiful stately manor in Dartmoor. The hotel is charming, the staff extremely friendly and the food from breakfast to dinner was excellent. Being close to Christmas the ambience and Christmas decorations and trees added additional charm to an already charming locale. Walking around the estate is truly beautiful with a very quaint golf course on the property. We can't wait to come back and stay here again. They are busy...

We've been in England for 16 days and stayed at 9 Hotels/BB's. Silverton Inn by far wins for the best bedding ever. We've stayed from budget to Castle Luxury. I never knew what I was missing. The room was large, exceptionally immaculate, decorated perfectly, (not dated) staff was extremely friendly. The Bar / Restaurant was really fun with locals and very good food and reasonably priced. There is a guest book at the Rock Inn which dates back to 1903 and it chronicles the experiences of the people who vacationed there. After reading through it one has to agree that it is a special place. We had a lovely stay at the Rock Inn. Our room was cosy with a comfy bed. We booked our meals in because the food is superb and the service friendly and attentive. We look forward to going back.

This is my second time staying here and I cannot recommend it enough! The included breakfast is delicious, and has vegan options that are filling. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The bar is lovely to hang out in at night. Easy walking distance to everything!

The Globe is perfectly located in the middle of town within walking distance to shops and waterfront. They offered a great breakfast and dinner menu alongside a cozy pub atmosphere. Housekeeping was excellent and our room was perfectly clean and restocked when we came back every day! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was Amazing!
