We enjoyed the spacious suite that had a gorgeous view of Durham Cathedral. The location was perfect walking distance to the river and attractions and restaurants in town.

Large rooms. But I didn't use the kitchen, large refrigerator, and few of the amenities possible. The breakfasts were great. The site was close to University Building 1 where an additional breakfast, lunches and most dinners were furnished. My Building 1 business meeting was held up the small hill nearby, and less than a 10-minute walk. Parking was in a disconnected garage across a street and behind the building. Drop off bags at the front before heading to parking which is uphill and at least 200 yards away if not further. Hotel is accessed via a private road so our gps expressed an alert about that but there was no restriction on driving it. Drive to airport was very convenient and about 20 minutes. Convenient gas station access along the route.

Everybody at the property was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent great choice. And you would be Renz not to eat in the restaurant there. It is very popular with many of the locals and there is a reason for that. The food is excellent. There are great portions and it is nice just to sit in a cozy English pub to eat.

Staying here was amazing. The room was just what I needed for my one night stay in Durham. The bus stop wasn’t far away and was very easy to get into the city center. I arrived a little bit early and they didn’t even flinch to get me into my room. Highly recommend!
