"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"The accommodations were comfortable. I recommend the address location be better labeled on the stone wall. The cab driver had difficulty finding Cabin 3. The stone wall hides the view of the cabin. The laundry from the previous tenants never got picked up and the red laundry bag sat on the front stoop all week. The outside views from the dining room window, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were splendid."

"This was our second holiday at High Bield - we stayed 2 years ago. It is a very special place to stay as it is in a wonderful location. We only used the car twice during the one week we stayed because all the walks and cycle rides could be done from the house. Windermere station was only a short drive away so we could easily pick up family arriving from London. Weather wasn’t what we expected in early June - warm for the first couple of days then much cooler with rain for the rest of the week...

The hot tub was a lovely way to relax after a day of shopping and the weather was nice enough to enjoy a bbq. "Property- fantastic. Many walks to forests/gardens/fells right from the property- Ferry to towns a 10 min walk. Grounds were charming- the kitchen is incredibly well kitted out for those who like to cook- very comfortable beds and the communication was great with the owners."
