"The staff was amazing and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and the dinner at their restaurant was delicious. We lucked out with a jazz band playing in the lobby with happy hour on a Thursday! The room was 5 star, beautiful bathroom and bedroom with a view of the port. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We would definitely stay there again!"

"This is a nice hotel. It is not fancy, but well thought out. Lots if places to put your things. Hooks for clothing and hooks in the bathroom. Large room. Couch could have been more comfortable. Surprisingly quiet given it's location on a busy road. I would stay there again."

"Have stayed here frequently in the past but had a bit of difficulty finding them this year since they left the Clarion chain. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was very nice, rooms were clean and adequate. I was pleased with my stay and will come back again as I make regular stops in the Hamden-New Haven area. "
