"Rose Cottage is delightful! Lots of character whilst providing plenty of modern home comforts. Everything was spotlessly clean. Cold Ashton is a sleepy village with no facilities within walking distance. Marshfield is the closest town which has a couple of pubs and a general store. The owner of Rose Cottage, Monika, is extremely helpful and friendly. Rose Cottage is perfect for couples or families with young children. The log fire in the front room was great to come home to after a day's...

"Great property with excellent facilities. The pictures really do not do it justice, it’s got a huge kitchen and really well equipped. With regards exploring the region, it is really well placed (I don’t think I did any more than 100 miles all week). If I had one small negative note it would be that the nearest local shops are in Wedmore which is around 2 miles away so although we did walk down a couple of times, it’s not something you would do on a daily basis. Would highly recommend 👍"

"The cottage is just like the photos, and it is as charming and as relaxing as it looks. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The home is very well appointed and the kitchen was lovely to use. The owners provide a fantastic welcome guide to give you local information and have kept the home beautifully.
