"Owner Christof is a true host, makes one feel comfortable in what is truely jungle. Local guide Luiz knows his trails and takes you around. Be mindful that in unpreserved jungle wildlife can be hard to spot but there's plenty to see anyway. Be prepared to drive on dirttracks and consequently the slow progress. No roadsigns, satnav is essential. The last 15 min is a footpath; travel light but include swimgear for a dip in the river. All in all a great experience."

"A rustic resort, this property has several amenities and programs. While most of the amenities were open air (but under cover), it wasn't as "buggy" as we were expecting. Our room was very clean and screened in (bugs were not a factor). The wall fan in our room kept us cool. Judy was very helpful and friendly. The food was good. "We loved it here. Such an amazing place. It’s remote, but the signage was good and our driver found it. Probably best to get there during the day. We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me. But the place was so nice we were very happy we stayed here. "
