"Very good value for our money. Beds are small (doubles are true doubles) but comfortable and fine for a week. Stayed 4 in a double room, 2 older teens and parents. The bathroom situation was a little weird with glass door on the shower and big mirror across from it so we put a towel over the glass door and were sure to warn each other when using the shower or changing. The toilet itself is behind its own door which is good. Spent evenings and mornings on the balcony - all rooms seem to overlook the courtyard and we could see the water and the ships from the balcony. Would not pay more for an upgraded view, but higher floors (5/6) seemed about perfect for views and a little more privacy in on the balcony. Bring your own snorkels and masks, you can see lots of fish and people of all ages spend their day snorkeling on the beach. Didn't see any for rent but would have missed the best feature of the resort if we didn't bring our own. Activites and entertainment were great - lots of beach volleyball and the staff make it comfortable for everyone to join. Tried all restaurants, seafood place is the best but only open 1-4 pm daily. Some excellent themed nights in the buffet, breakfast was always good. Little coffee shop and blue marlin snack bar were perfect for the rest of the day. Don't miss the evening entertainment - cultural dancing shows most nights and social events such as silent disco, carnival, etc. under the 'big hat' - family friendly and fun for everyone."

"The room was very clean! I enjoyed my stay and so did my boyfriend. We were impressed with the friendly service, the swiftness of the room service and the resort itself and outside bathrooms smelled clean and were clean. The only issue i had was the floor of the balcony. Granted it is outside but the dirt builds up quick after rain. the hammock was a nice touch (garden view room) but the placement could’ve been better so it wouldn’t have been hitting the sliding door. I had a faulty lamp on my side of the bed, which i had reported. Also there is a knocking noise that comes from the shower, could’ve been a pressure issue. I reported all these things i pointed out but overall id give the resort a 8.7/10. The shows at night were really nice. But my and my boyfriend are under 30 and have no kids for why we picked this resort. When i booked this place i liked the fact that it was all inclusive, but for the month of april (granted the crowd could be different throughout the year) it was mostly retired folk or older couples wanting to spend time away. Everyone had their own space and kept to themselves, but we expected a little bit more life but for the amenities and the distance to the Avenida nearby, there wasn’t many complaints since we have access to leave the resort. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet, calm, and chill vacay away from home. "

"The staff were pretty consistently rude for most of the week we were there. When we would ask for food at restaurants where they were serving at buffets they were consistently rude or acted like we were annoying them or like they didn’t want to be there. It was pretty shocking considering what we paid to be there. We wondered if they were treating us that way because we were Mexican-American and not White. No matter the reason, it was not OK. If you’re looking for a beach, this is not the place for you. The beach is very small, most of it is Rocky, and there was lots of sarga while we were there. We most definitely will never return here."

"This hotel was on the older side, and that was ok. The little cove / beach was beautiful and we snorkeled almost every day. If you don’t have googled the lifeguard usually can let you rent a pair for less than $5 for a few hours. The views were gorgeous. The food was actually pretty good and their salsas were spicy and had flavor! Usually all inclusive resorts lack that. This isn’t a party hotel at all, which is what i wanted. I wanted to just relax. That being said i came with 2 other coworkers on our spring break. We had booked months in advance so I was confused upon check in when they didn’t give us rooms next to each other , let alone on the same floor. They said it was “whatever was available “ like ok? We booked in advance for a reason. The second issue was that the people in the room next to me were extremely loud for 3 nights in a row way past 1am. Screaming, laughing, music etc. i called security the first night and they came immediately. When this happened the second and third night, security did not come up and check with them like they did the first night. There were no accommodations given after not being able to sleep for a few days and did not want to move me rooms. We left a key in a room one night and it was annoying they couldn’t give us another one, they made you walk up with them and look for your key in the room. I probably would not stay again , the hotel was pretty run down and old and the service could be a lot better."

"This is a gorgeous resort., the architecture on their buildings are stunning. We had a partial ocean view, which was lovely and overlooked the property and part of the ocean. The restaurants are all top-notch and the food is excellent. The entertainment around the pool is fun and the service there is excellent too. Enjoyed our five days thoroughly and we will be back. "
