"We had a wonderful stay at Occidental Atenea Mar. The rooms were clean, and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The gym and rooftop pool area were great. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they were very accommodating to dietary restrictions. The location was excellent for us, about a block from the beach and quieter than the more central parts of Barcelona. Despite not being in the city center, it was still very easy to get to the main attractions, with bus stops and metros a short walk away. It was also pretty easy to get a taxi right from the hotel. Overall, we cannot recommend this place enough and hope to come back soon!!"
