"The property has a great location. The room that we were in was smaller than average. And while it had a balcony with a “street view” you pretty much had to hang out over the edge to see the alley below This is our first trip to Barcelona and we will definitely come back and hopefully do a bit of research on other options."

"The property location is close to shops, restaurants, the Boqueria market. The staff is courteous and offer good service. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I travel a lot and have high standards with 4 stars hotels ratings. This is a 4 star old hotel that could use some upgrades. For instance the outlets in the room are at floor level so charging your phone, you have to reach under the desk or night stand to get to it. This should be at table level. The faucets in the bathroom are old fashioned. One faucet for cold and the other for hot. There are written instructions to turn the water on in the shower so that should tell you how old the hotel is. With that said, this can be overlooked because of the service and location."
