"One of the best rooms we have stayed in a long time. Yes we got an upgrade but what a lovely new boutique apartment. Very contemporary with high quality fitting our room had a lovely lounge and kitchenette area. The bedroom was sealed off with a quality wooden/glass portion. Highly recommended "

"Great hotel, cute maisonette, amazing location surrounded by so many fabulous restaurants, shops and even the harbour is close (10 min walk max). Many bus stops around to go to Knossos, and beaches. "J'avais réservé pour Ilios appartement et j'avais ma confirmation. Arrivés: pas de place pour nous, nous sommes accueillis au Ilios hotel. C'est un endroit où les jeunes vont pour faire le party et moi j'arrive avec ma famille! Les jeunes buvaient, se criaient d'une chambre à l'autre et la musique était très forte. Je vais voir à l'accueil pour trouver une solution: personne ne peut m'aider car les responsables sont partis!!???? J'ai du monter le ton pour avoir du service et une solution. ...

"The Manager was top notch, we booked last min and was greeted with a drink and asked to wait one moment while the finished getting the room available. Within 5 min we were taken to our room. The staff, location and beach were all so nice we decided to extend our stay an extra day. The Manager once again was able to make arrangements for us to stay in our same room. Will definitely stay here again if we make it back to this Beautiful location. "

Wonderful helpful family staff who were free to offer advice, great facilities and wonderful sea water pool! easy walk to local restaurants and shops, but far enough away from town so not too busy. The accommodation offered us everything we needed and was well located for trips to the beach, Heraklion and the airport. Some good recommendations from Stelios so try those out. We had welcome gifts when we arrived and Stelios’ parents next door also kindly dropped in some fruit. Enjoy the sounds of the countryside and the cicadas and make the booking. You won’t be disappointed."

"Fantastic rustic and rural getaway in Crete. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too big an ask. Everyone we met on the trip were also very friendly and kind. The resort itself is pretty faultless, every member of staff is super kind and friendly, they all looked after us so well from reception to restaurants. "Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"
