"Love love everything about this hotel one down thing is that there are not fridge and you cannot heat up your food it the kitchen, you stuck with cold food or take away but the rooms and everything are lovely "

"Young staff, of which I spoke to 5, were all brilliant, friendly,efficient and good fun. Most impressive. Slight issue in that if you had a noisyroom neighbour then the thin walls could be a problem as you could hear people snoring!. Food wholesome and faierly priced, beer good too so overall I have to give it 5stars and will recommend to friends and family."

"Excellent stay at the Mitre Hotel , from check-in to check-out. We were greeted by the kindest receptionist, who was also there when we checked out and who went above and beyond to make our kids feel welcome and happy . The room was very well equipped, with great decor while staying conveniently with children , room service was good and breakfast the following day great too , especially the view from the restaurant. Access to the palace could not be easier , and the whole surrounding area is very nice . Parking spaces are fairly limited but we were lucky enough to get one despite a late arrival. "

"Having stayed in this lovely hotel previously, I decided to treat my daughter to a couple of days in this idyllic setting. We had a wonderful time & did a couple of wonderful walks. The staff at this hotel cannot do enough for you. We will definitely be returning. "
