"The hotel grounds were good, breakfast was plentiful even though repetitive day by day. They had nightly entertainment, some good, some not. The on site Flor de Sal was very good, the service there was excellent. My biggest complaint was the unfriendliness of the reception and staff everywhere. No one smiles or greets you when you walk by. I felt there was a general unfriendly vibe from the staff everywhere. They don't seem happy or pretend to be happy for the clients!! My room was fine, pillows were lumpy, I asked for new ones, and they were not any better. The bathroom was the worst: my shower had mold, All it needed was some bleach and cleaning. The washroom faucet was scratched, shower door didn't close. More than once, I told the reception about it, nothing was done. They did offer a new room but it was a huge hassle to move so we declined. The pools were ok, the adult pool was often dirty, we didn't use the outdoor pools much. The gym is nice and well equipped. Overall, it is a good hotel but the staff needs to trained to be nicer and friendlier with smiles! I don't think I would choose this hotel again. We stayed in Lisbon at a PortoBay and the vibe there was better, and hence chose this one,"

"Apartment was clean and tidy. It did not have a beach view and whilst I had asked about parking before arrival I got no reply. It turned out my car was too big for the underground garage so I had to park on the street. That aside, the apartment was ideal for my purposes"

"Apartment 848, clean and spacious. What was a really nice touch arriving after 10pm was fresh bread, butter, jam and milk. Thank you! Wifi in apartment n restaurants. Close to the Tennis club but we choose to use our breakfast voucher in the Doce cafe which was a 1k walk, which was lovely but u can use the resort shuttle taxi. The 3 staff in Doce were brilliant each morning, Fantastic cocktails in beach club too, it was quiet in October but great music by DJ pool water is cool but refreshing! We enjoyed watching the tennis & Paddle and would definitely book if we were back. The beach is flawless and lovely to watch the golfers. Really nice wide spread resort, the hire car was handy when we decided to eat off site."
