"Checking in was irritating, uploading my passport caused errors. Finally I succeeded apparently, while the website still said there was an error. The apartment was beyond terrible. Lock of the apartment didn’t work. Cockroaches, dirty kitchen, clogged sink in bathroom. Balcony smelled like urine, stains all over the walls, pillows and sheets. A horrible place, not the place we worked our whole year for to celebrate our holiday. Take this apartment out of your system. It’s awful. "

"We were allowed to experience a fantastic stay; beautiful views of the castle, the Arade River and Portimao marina. There are also easy to book boat trips going to the Benagil cave. The apartment is centrally located i the Algarve and via the A22 it is easy to visit other cities like Tavira, Faro, Lagos by rental car.... In Ferragudo, there is a great choice of restaurants all within walking distance. The pool at Vila Castelo provided some cooling down."

"Had an exceptional time at Rob’s home in Algarve. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable home for relaxing and entertaining. Close to so many things. The his town has wineries, a bustling oceanside town center, and beautiful beaches (Praia do Carvalho is a must visit). It easily accommodated the spectrum of guests from my 6-year-old daughter to my 74-year-old mother. And it was a great center point for visiting many other towns in Algarve. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ferragudo. The property, in a quiet, quaint neighbourhood, was just what we were looking for and within 5 minutes' walk of the centre of Ferragudo via narrow, cobbled ruas , most barely a cars-width wide, and steep flights of steps. There there is a pocket-sized "supermarket" with all essential supplies, including fresh meat and vegetables and some superb wines. A city-sized supermarket is 30 minutes' away.
