"There are two Axor hotels. The taxi took us to the address we were given but we were told we were next door. The first hotel was much nicer and the photo on my confirmation showed Axor Baranjas, but we were at the Féria. No amenities. No restaurant for the evening or bar. The shuttle leaves from the other building. It was very confusing and we had to drag our luggage back and forth. So make sure which one you are staying at."

The photos are misleading, while they look impressive online, the actual property feels outdated, with old furniture, low-quality windows, and a worn balcony that make the place seem decades behind. Soundproofing is poor, so noise is easily heard throughout the room. The pool is also advertised, yet it’s only open for a few months a year, which makes its promotion misleading for most guests. The gym setup is another issue. The pull-up bar is positioned too close to the ceiling, leaving no proper clearance and making it unusable without risking hitting your head. I had to go to a nearby park just to do a basic workout. For a budget hotel, some of this might be acceptable, but not at the prices this place charges. The overall experience simply doesn’t justify the cost or the expectations they set. Disappointing stay"

"El aire acondicionado no funciona. Llegamos a las 12:00 a.m. , cansados después de un vuelo y la sorpresa fue que la habitación parecia un horno y cuando preguntamos en recepcion por el aire acondicionado nos informaron que estaba dañado, que lo pondrian en funcionamiento para el mes de Julio y que abrieramos la ventana de la habitación. Qué desastre! Obviamente por la hora ya no podiamos irnos y al abrir la ventana el ruido de los coches era insoportable. El desayuno es decente, pero si tu objectivo es descansar para tomar un vuelo, este hotel no tiene el confort necesario. Sería más honesto si en el website informaran que el aire acondicionado no funciona."

"Well........this place was just "ok" with us. I don't want to bash them but walking in from the street was a bit underwhelming. The ground floor colors and appointments were kind of dreary. It did not make you feel happpy booking your next several days in Madrid there. Brighten this place up! Breakfast offerings were not so good. I will focus on the fresh fruit that did not look fresh. Not appealing at all. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Hope this info helps you."

Sorry but hotel was average, to be fair we missed read that it was a hostel, ideal for ‘back packers’, bit focusing in the positive; great walking distance location for many attractions, markets, metro and atocha train station"

"The previous occupant smoked in the room and all the hotel did was spray perfume to mask the smell and the cigarette smell became evident at night when the perfume smell wore off. I also found cigarette butts near and outside the window and took photos as evidence. Upon check out, the reception staff did not offer any discounts or even an apology. The plus side is that the guy at check in and the breakfast lady were very friendly and helpful. "
