"What a fabulous place for a family holiday!The house is wonderfully private and quiet, tucked away in the countryside yet close to plenty of amenities and activities. Just 1.5 km away there’s a fantastic bakery, and the nearby town of Città della Pieve is full of charm—offering delicious food, gelato, and stunning views.Our host, Maria, and her family were outstanding. They responded quickly to any questions and shared invaluable local tips, including excellent walking trails. The pool was a huge highlight, keeping the children entertained for hours on end. It was also kept sparkling clean, with maintenance every other day—a real bonus.The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to prepare family meals, which we enjoyed outside every single day. Renting a car in Chiusi is definitely the best option, as the rail connections are excellent and far simpler than renting in Rome.The house itself is spacious, offering both lovely gathering areas and quiet corners for relaxing. We especially appreciated the weekly cleaning service, complete with fresh towels (including pool towels) and bedding.The sunsets over the property were absolutely breathtaking, making for unforgettable photo opportunities. We also loved exploring the region—golfing, biking around Lake Trasimeno, visiting wineries, enjoying market days in Chiusi, and taking day trips to Perugia and Florence.Overall, this is the perfect place for a family holiday, blending comfort, beauty, and plenty of activities. "The location of this property is idyllic- so tranquil! We enjoyed two thoroughly relaxing weeks in June/July and felt like we'd found a bit of a hidden gem. The views are stunning and the property is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. It's ideally placed to explore this beautiful region.The hosts are delightful, friendly and discreet (the lovely Serenella and her family). Any language barrier was easily solved with mobile phone translators.The pool is huge and very well maintained daily. It is in the sun all day but large parasols give plenty of shade.The house has great clean bathrooms, great wardrobe space in the bedrooms and provides most of the basics needed for a stay. It could perhaps benefit from a bit of an update but was just fine for us.The approach road is rustic but easily managed. We rather enjoyed looking out for hares and deer!The nearest village of Palazzone has a great pizzeria restaurant, Madonna del Carmine, which serves simple but really tasty home made food. We found ourselves rather reluctant to leave at the end of our holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return to this property."

"The city was easy to get around in walking. The apartment is pretty centrally located. It is also easy to get from here to most of Umbria and a fair amount of Tuscany. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating."

"Restaurant was amazing! We dined on the panoramic terrace and the wine and meal was delicious! The hotel room was a generous size and had high quality linens. A generous breakfast was served in the inn’s dining room. We stayed here on a drive from southern to northern Italy and were very glad to have booked the place! "

"Very good location. Very clean. Nearby free parking. Breakfast was just okay. Too much unnecessary clutter and perfumery airfreshner smell in room in my opioion. Seemed totally unnecessary as rooms were spotlessly clean. Luggage rack in room would be helpful. Would definitely recommend. "

"The property was difficult to get to - road conditions are not good. Upon arrival no one answered the door so we were forced to stay in our car that evening because we could not find another hotel. We called and called and tried knocking on door etc. very bad service. We have requested a refund and have not heard back. "

"Unfortunately we had a series of issues with this property, starting from the check in process. I was given the wifi password info by the agency that represents the house. We got in late at night due to a family emergency (the local manager knew). We got to the property and we could not connect to the wifi and none of us had any connection. We had to go close to town to connect. I tried calling the manager but she didn’t respond. We had to sit in the car till 3:30 AM so our daughter could finish an important contract for work (working remote with the US). Next morning manager informed me we were given the wrong password! We were also cold and did not know how to turn the heating on! I have never rented a property (and we have rented many, especially in Italy), without a welcome book with all the information/instructions. Simple solution. Other problems: dishwasher broken, oven would only get warm, one of the bathroom showers only had super hot water, pool and jacuzzi had to be cleaned by us prior to use. The manager came on the 3rd morning to wash all the dishes by hand. She was apologetic about the dishwasher. overall the place is lovely and spacious but it needs some work,?edpecisllynthe kitchen. "
