"This property was very nice and it is located in a beautiful country setting. The deer came up to the house and we could watch them from the front porch. The properties location made it a great starting point for numerous outdoor treks. This is a property that we will keep in our revisit file."

"Our family visited for a long weekend. We have 3 kids and brought 2 dogs and it was just perfect. The trail just out back was an unexpected surprise! We wore the pups out multiple times a day. We also took a fun and unexpected helicopter ride because the house is next to a helicopter tour operation. And being so close to the helicopter tours wasn’t at all off-putting. The location was excellent for all we wanted to do. If we return in the future we’ll likely rebook with these hosts who make it...

"If you've read through the reviews, this one will not be much different. The h osts are very accomodating and friendly. Anything you need, they will make sure you have it. Great location visiting the Black Hills and all of the attractions (Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Windcave, etc.)"

"I live in the northern hills and was looking for a good stay-cation for us. Hill City is a great central location for everything you want to see, and the hosts and guests are very personable and friendly. The common area firepit and grills was a nice place to meet the other guests and socialize. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for my family of 4 but won’t want a bigger group staying due to limited large group seating area. There were some minor things when we arrived (due to previous long-term renters) that were quickly taken care of by the owner. Refrigerator wasn’t cleaned out yet, but the rest of the house was clean. It was close to so many things in the southern Black Hills area. Owner was easy to get ahold of with needs and he also recommended some great restaurants to try out."

"What a beautiful property! Nestled atop a tree-lined cliff and overlooking a valley, this location is an oasis for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We enjoyed watching wild turkeys, deer, robins, rabbits, and other wildlife going about their daily routines. We felt welcome and relaxed as soon as we arrived."

"Seems like we were 10 minutes to all the major attractions. We walked to dinner every night and didnt have to pack up the car. At close as we were to town we still felt in the mountains surrounded by nature. We grilled and hung out at the taps room each night."

"The home is nice and in a beautiful location. We were allowed to check in early and departed early. One snafu: housekeeping had not followed the previous renters so house was not ready. I worked with owner and she was communicative and helpful and made monetary compensation for my having to clean. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay."
