"We really enjoyed staying at forest lodge. We were made to feel very welcome and relaxed in the bar area. Staff were welcoming and kind and friendly. A lady gave us a free bottle of Prosecco to help us celebrate our anniversary. Sitting in the bar having a meal and a drink was one of my highlights on our break. Some of the hotels main procedures cause them a bit of difficulty. For instance asking everyone for photo ID at check in- if this needs to be done it could be done at booking. Also...

"All the staff were friendly and professional. The room was a refurbished one and it was lovely and clean. The pool was fabulous and warm, also there was a nice scent to it. I had a refreshing facial with Amanda, who was excellent and gave me some much-needed advice. The hotel is in need of some renovation, however it looks like that's already in progress.
