"Close to airport, stayed only 1 night. Room was clean and spacious. A little noisy at certain points, i guess the kitchen or area where trash is thrown was right outside our bathroom window. The day we were checking out they asked us on several occasions what time we planned to check out. I can understand asking once but we were asked 3 times. One point the staff member mentioned that there was no smoking in the rooms. Well that is standard in all hotels, not sure why they mentioned it the day we were leaving, thats something you do the time of check in. My husband smokes and we stepped outside many times in front of them so was very odd, almost insulting for the staff to happen to mention that to us just minutes before check out. Besides those situations the hotel met our needs but staff needs to have better communication skills"

"I went there for an Anderton’s guitar event and chose the hotel for its proximity to a train station and the town centre. The people who work there were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The event room is very spacious and has a bar making the hotel ideal for hosting future events. I would have no hesitation in booking another stay and Guildford is lovely town. "
