it was wonderful. Loved the room & the towels were great. Bed slept great.

The personnel was lovely, the continental breakfast was plentiful and the facility was clean. Adding whole grain bread would be a plus from my point of view but I’m probably in a minority that would enjoy it. Having flavored water available was a wonderful perk.

Loved the cleanliness and peacefulness the hotel offers. Only wish pool was warmer so the kids would've enjoyed it more

Wonderful, friendly staff! Very helpful and accommodating. Relaxed yet professional atmosphere. Very generous and appealing breakfast. Nice location. Quiet, recessed back from main road. Close to shopping, restaurants, gas stations, recreational opportunities. Ideal place to stay when in the area!! Look no further!! My best recommendation!!

It was a good stay not many complaints except the pool was a tiny bit cold and the breakfast could be better

I would have to disagree with many of the negative reviews here- I thought this was one of the nicest hotels in the northwoods. The room was comfortable and well-appointed- very comfortable beds and furniture, plenty of plug-in spots for cell phones and electronics. If you have teens or people in your party who like to stay up late, there is a door separating another room with a living/tv watching area with a foldout couch, fridge, and microwave. Mom and I had a wonderful working trip experience to stay at a beautiful quaint hotel & resort. When I booked the hotel, I didn't know that it was a historical hotel & resort until we got there. Tucked back into the Northern woods of central Wisconsin with it's lovely fall colored trees over looking the lake. Breath taking.... The hotel rooms were nice and clean. Amazing Resort! Right off the snowmobile trail, great food at the restaurant. the front desk staff was awesome! Especially the night front desk woman that was working Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th, we will come back for sure!!
