Upon arrival we were so surprised to see that we had been given a huge suite rather than the room I thought I was booking. What a great room! We are a family traveling. I’d say we will not return with kids. It’s family friendly in the sense that there are other kids there but the resort overall is really not designed for families. My husband -who is athletic and 42 years of age - fell in the shallow end of the pool because the bottom of the pool was extremely slippery. He did get hurt. My wife and i were visiting from Las Vegas and had stayed at several other 5 star beach front resorts for 4 times the price per night before we stumbled upon Sun Tower Hotel & Suites. Nicer pool area than the Ritz Carlton. Staff is super friendly. Takato Japanese restaurant is on site, and had some of the best sushi I have ever had. Wonderful experience. Will definitely come back
