  • Come and stay in this beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bath mountain get-away. Hardwood floors and an open floor plan make this 1054 square foot home a great place to stay on your vacation. Convenient to beautiful mountain points of interest. One hour from Cherokee, NC. One and a half hours from Atlanta, Ga. Thirty minutes from beautiful Highlands, NC. Many hiking trails, waterfalls, hunting opportunities, and popular roads for motorcycle riders. There are numerous outdoor activities like hiking the Appalachian or Bartram Trail, bicycling, enjoy scenic waterfalls, golfing at two local courses, river tubing, white water rafting, horseback riding, zip lining, fishing, winter snow tubing, ice skating; and skiing. You can also experience our local mountain culture through Native American and Appalachian Cultural Sites and Museums, local performing arts centers, other music and entertainment venues, antiquing, curio shopping, thrift store shopping, unique dining establishments and The Fun Factory Amusement Center. A two car carport is available for vehicle/motorcycles. Sleeps 4 but a queen inflatable mattress is available for your use. Washer/Dryer included. I have listed below many local points of interest.

Perfect home close to Franklin NC

Great communication from Leah prior to arrival and when she met us at the property. House was the cleanest property I've ever stayed in. Everything we needed was provided including plentiful linens, even for the hot tub. Easy and quick trip into Franklin downtown area. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Always a pleasure to stay here. Leah, owner/manager, is so easy to work with. Very quickly responds to questions. The home is clean and anemities and decor are perfect for us.

Perfect Stay

Leah is a very responsive & caring host. Her cabin is clean, amenities are great (love Keurig coffee maker), porches for sitting and is a very comfortable home. Thank you Leah for providing your beauty place for renting. See you in the fall.

Lovely

Wonderful front porch view (you can even hear a babbling creek). Home was clean and furniture comfortable. The woodwork is beautiful. Please note hot tub has been removed so if you want a hot tub, this isn’t your place. Owner was prompt to respond for check in. Owner meets you to check in. There were very little instructions for check out provided, only to put dishes in dishwasher and take garbage to the dump. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking. You will need to bring salt/pepper etc. Owner provided one roll of toilet paper and dishwasher tablets. If you want to wash dishes or clothing, you may need to check in. A great place to stay for comfort and a glorious view!

Wonderful getaway

Home was lovely and had all the necessities of home making it a wonderful stay. Very clean and nice comfortable beds. Owner’s were easily accessible to help with any questions we had. I definitely recommend for nice trip to beautiful Franklin, NC.

Wonderful cabin, easy access to nearby hikes

Leah was an amazing hostess. The cabin was just perfect for our romantic Valentine weekend. Loved the hot tub and gas fireplace. Bed was comfortable, and everything was just what we needed. Highly recommend!

This cabin, 2 bedroom, was just right for us. Close to town for shopping, restaurants & museums and for hiking trails & scenic rides by car. Leah, the property owner, was very helpful at all times and immediately responded to our questions.

Great vacation home in Franklin

This was just what we needed for a 3 night stay in Franklin. The home was very private but still close to town. Enjoyed going to several waterfalls, Wayah lookout, gem mining and going to downtown Franklin. Loved the hot tub! Leah was a great host!

Lovely place.

The owner was very helpful and helped us book as we are not computer literate. We have this family get together every year and really enjoyed our time here. Everything was perfect and the house had everything we could have possibly needed! We will be back!!

Leah, the owner/host, is so nice to deal with.

We have stayed at this home 4 times and it gets better every time. Close to town for needed shopping, museums & restaurants. Clean and cozy. Just love going to this cabin.. Gives you that like being home feeling. Thank you Leah. See you in May.
