"Mould in bathroom also ion communal kitchen & possibly on render on outside wall No spoon or cups. The person in next room was using the landing as a shoe storage area. The person did not want to know about the mould & wanted me to cancel staying on a bank holiday weekend. With health issues I would have preferred to not to stay at all. The property could do with some maintenance."

"This is a lovely place to stay, and we would definitely return. However, I did find the bed in the room we were in to be a little firm for my liking, but that is personal taste The breakfast, from the fresh fruits to the fantastic poached eggs and bacon etc was amazing. "Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy.
