"We went to Santa Clara to see Luke combs concert! This was a double surprise and blessing! This hotel when you walk in, gives you a sense or vibe of being somewhere, almost tropical, and secluded and very safe.. our room had double doors, and they literally face the freeway. And yes, there was a hum, but we slept like rocks. We slept so good better than I do in my own bed at home! The place is impeccably clean. "Had a very comfortable stay here. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of options each morning. This location has great connectivity to many venues in the Bay Area. Some areas improvements: 1. There is no drinking water in the room or on any floors. To get water, you need to walk down to the lobby and then walk to the water fountain near the toilets. Otherwise a small 500 ml water bottle will cost you $5.50 at the front desk. So you always need to carry a water bottle with you for free drinking water. 2. Hot coffee is only available during breakfast hours. At other times of day, you need to buy coffee for $6 at the front desk. [FYI, if you don’t add tip for coffee, then your next coffee will likely be unpleasant] 3. There is only one microwave oven near the breakfast area, which is not cleaned regularly. To reheat your food, you need to again walk down to the dining area and use this shared microwave oven. To get things as simple as drinking water or hot coffee, luxury hotel like Hyatt Place is making it very cumbersome for the guests. It is disappointing to experience this after paying a hefty amount proportional to the luxury brand name. "
