"The Staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Beyond that the rest of the staff was mediocre and non-excitant at best, except for the kitchen staff on Sunday. I did not get her name, but she more than outshined the gentleman we had the rest of the week. After Sunday the pancakes that were served could have been used as clay pigeons. They were so hard that you could barely cut them with a knife, and many other items were not out or freshened up. We were told at check-in on Saturday that the clean staff would service our room on the third day. As of our departure on Wednesday our room had never been touched, and the only cleaning person we seen was sweeping the hallway as we went out on Tuesday. When we returned that evening, I had to go to get clean towels. This was our first time staying with this brand, and there were some good things, so I will not say we'll never stay with this brand again, but more than likely not here."

"Room was clean. Walls a bit thin (guy on meetings next to us at 6am), but not holding that against them. The pool area was a but rundown. It was a bit annoying that, while there is a back door to exit from, you can't come back in. So running to the car and back became a ordeal. The continental breakfast was pretty slim pickings. Overall, it was fine for the price. The staff was friendly. Location was nice being a short drive to Manitou."

"Overall, staying at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort wasn't a terrible experience. However, the first morning after I had a shower, I tried to use the hairdryer and it practically blew up in my hands. It was extremely cheap and right after turning on heated up to red, crackled and died. When I picked up the phone to report it, there was no dial tone. My colleague called on my behalf only to be told that they are understaffed and there is no one to bring me a replacement hairdryer. Not great considering I was there for a conference and had to be ready for a breakfast meeting. In addition, the hot water in the shower seemed to last about 2 minutes and then turned luke warm-ish. But the room and amenities were clean, staff was pleasant, buffet breakfast had a good selection. Not a terrible stay, but not the best either."
