"Located in the heart of Charleston, the Mills House Hotel is a luxury hotel with all the ammeniteis. The courtyard has a beautiful fountain and large fireplace and we loved having drinks out here. It is also the outdoor dining section of one of the hotel restuarnts, Iron Rose, which we ate at several times and it was excellent. "Nice people and property. Beds are super comfortable. Bathroom got very wet every shower because of having only a half door. Water didn’t totally drain and stood in bottom. Needs more hooks on walls for hanging toiletry bags, etc. Very conveniently located."

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
