"We booked this hotel off of its rating and accolades shown in their site. I do feel, however, that it is VERY overpriced. We were disappointed in this upon arriving to Charleston and seeing what other options we had at much better nightly rates (in fact half the cost) based on when we originally booked the room. "My Daughter and I did a last minute getaway and stayed in this absolutely beautiful and charming Inn. Our room was beautiful with 2 queen canopy beds. The staff was very prompt and welcoming. Bathroom was big and modern. We stayed on the first floor with the courtyard and it was quiet and beautiful to look at and sit in the courtyard. "The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
