We rented a car for an easy drive to Neuschwanstein from Munich. Free and easy parking. Next to ticket office for castle and horse carriage to top. My huband and I had a lovely day/overnight from Munich. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Great hotel smack bang in the middle of Fussen Altstadt. Walkable from train station. Room was a delight, clean and comfortable. We had a little balcony which was a bonus! No lifts so may require some climbing for higher floors. Hotel gave us a Fussen Pass which allowed free bus travel to Hohenschwangau and concessional tickets to the castles. Thank you for great memories of Fussen and Neuschwanstein!"

"Our stay at Hotel Sonne in Füssen was excellent, the hotel was really clean and nicely upgraded. Unique decor throughout, our room was a nice size with all the necessary amenities. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well. I would definitely stay here again. Parking was offset close by with trains and buses nearby. Füssen is a beautiful destination, we loved it. "
