The property photos — many items shown are old, broken, or completely unusable. There was no outdoor lighting, and the glasses were dusty and poorly maintained. "Our family had an amazing stay here. Location is very good, near the Lake Yamanaka, Mount Fuji view from the living room, dining room and bathroom. Clean and quiet. Washing machine works well. We arrived late at night, self check-in is convenient. Staff can be reached via tablet video chat. Convenient stores are nearby. Highly recommend! We will definitely book this hotel again next time we travel to Mount Fuji."

The place is a slight long walk from the parking lot and there are not a lot of lights walking up the path but the directions that the owner left was very useful to find parking. "Great location, beautiful home. Communication was excellent, the beds were comfortable. Great view of Fuji. My only concern would be the mold in the downstairs bathroom. Looks like an outside leak inside the walls coming through. I did notice a mold/musty smell from it and had a couple headaches while staying there. Either from the mold or the storm that came through."

"There were great instructions in English for the bath. There is a very handy shuttle bus to Gora that is a helpful additional alternative to bus. This place is only about two years old so everything is very clean and fresh."
