"I liked the fact the hotel was quiet and tucked out of the way from the hustle and bustle of central Funchal with good views and surrounding scenery. My room was very spacious and comfortable (superior double) and worth every penny. The staff were all very welcoming and most helpful with any requests such as booking taxis or giving advice about local activities and trips. My only slight criticism is that they had no USB charging points in the room but luckily I did bring two adapter plugs with me so was easily able to charge my various devices - plenty of spare sockets in the room."

Every meal we had at the hotel was beautifully presented and delicious, with attentive service to match. The beds were especially comfortable, ensuring we woke up refreshed each day. "Incredible hotel! The staff is amazing. So friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds, rooms, and views are stunning. The sea pool is beyond and the diving boards are so much fun. We brought our 8 month old and they provided a crib, stuffed animal, and adorable backpack. The staff was also very sweet with the baby and offered a high chair at every meal. We also really enjoyed the thoughtful nightly gifts during turndown service. Spa also very nice. Would highly recommend. Close to the airport. Incredible experience. "
