Staff were as incredible as anyplace we have stated. Grounds and hotel room simply immaculate and gorgeous. Far exceeded our expectations.

The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails.

This property is without a doubt among your top listings. The location is delightful and 15 mins. away from Lucca city center. In other words, have fun in the main city but relax and fully enjoy this pearl in the outskirts of the city. The room was clean and comfortable to my satisfaction. Short walk to walled city, safe neighborhood but most of all fantastic staff. I have never seen a group of people that are so kind, helpful and willing to do anything for their customers. We had an incident that required an ambulance in the very early hours of the morning. The night desk shift manager took such good care of us, calling ambulance, explaining to us in English what was going to happen. The ambiance of Armonia Hotel goes beyond its well appointed lobby and the warm greetings of the caring and efficient reception staff. Excellent breakfast and very nice country style Tuscany hotel. Friendly staff. All excellent for quality / price ratio. Nice garden and quality restaurant on site. The only thing I have to underline is the gym, was on the web advertised, but was not open.

We booked this by chance on the last day of the season and it did not disappoint. The level of warmth and responsiveness made our stay very enjoyable. From recommending and booking our restaurant reservations, to a wonderful breakfast and spa experience, this turned out to be a stay we wouldn’t forget.

Lovely hotel in a great location close to the spas and the park. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and nice.

This is not a picture-postcard villa with glorious views in the heart of town. It's a super-clean, well-managed, airy, Best Western with free parking, helpful staff, good restaurant, free internet, and fine breakfast, 10 minutes by car from Lucca and a good jumping-off base for driving to other sites in the area. Good value for the money.

We wish we could give 10 stars! This was one of the most amazing hotel experiences we have ever had across multiple trips to Europe. Not sure how we fell into this boutique gem but glad we did. Clean, well maintained, beautifully appointed, everything is modern and works as expected! The location is ideal to explore Pistoia. The train is a very easy 12 minute walk.
