Staff were as incredible as anyplace we have stated. Grounds and hotel room simply immaculate and gorgeous. Far exceeded our expectations.

We booked this by chance on the last day of the season and it did not disappoint. The level of warmth and responsiveness made our stay very enjoyable. From recommending and booking our restaurant reservations, to a wonderful breakfast and spa experience, this turned out to be a stay we wouldn’t forget.

The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails.

Short walk to walled city, safe neighborhood but most of all fantastic staff. I have never seen a group of people that are so kind, helpful and willing to do anything for their customers. We had an incident that required an ambulance in the very early hours of the morning. The night desk shift manager took such good care of us, calling ambulance, explaining to us in English what was going to happen. I cannot recommend this location enough. I would most definitely consider making another trip to Tuscany just to stay there. The facilities and the staff are wonderful!!! Well worth going to :)

This property is without a doubt among your top listings. The location is delightful and 15 mins. away from Lucca city center. In other words, have fun in the main city but relax and fully enjoy this pearl in the outskirts of the city. The room was clean and comfortable to my satisfaction. Hotel Villa Casanova was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany! Everything about this place was special. Just had 24 hours to spend in Lucca. It was a great stay, the staff was very helpful from the moment we arrived. Franco, who took us to our room doubles as the hotel bartender at night.
