"I stayed in this small family hotel almost every year since 2016 at the end of August or beginning of September. Good breakfast, spa area (jacuzzi, sauna, hamam), very friendly and helpful owner. Also, when you stay during the summer, you will get a free cable car pass (+local buses in Saastal) in a form of an electronic pass. The area is very calm especially compared to Saas Fee and Zermatt. Having a car definitely helps if you want to have a dinner in one of those fancy restaurants in Saas...

"The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, and had a beautiful view of the mountains, with a patio outside. The owner, Francine, was very welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond on several occasions to make our experience the best it could be. There was access to wonderful hiking trails nearby, just be prepared for some steep inclines! One thing to note is that the resort area of Crans-Montana is very expensive, but there are many great things to do and see there....

"A gem off the beaten path! If you follow the host's directions together with your car navigation/phone GPS, you will have no problems finding it. We had a room out of 3 available, a shared bathroom, and a shared kitchenette (which we didn't use). The toilet in the room we had made loud sounds when we flushed, and there was an instruction advising us not to throw toilet paper in it, so we ended up using the shared toilet in the common area. "Very cool little chalet/cabin in La Sage (Evolene). Best for 2 people max. and despite the size, having 2 floors to spread is decent. The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available"
