In the middle of the idyllic landscape conservation area of Geltinger Bucht and just 50 metres from the water, the BOOTSHAUS holiday home takes you on a journey back in time to the former fishing village of Wackerballig. The 85 m² holiday home has been completely renovated, given a modern interpretation and offers space for up to 4 people.



The terrace promises sun all day long and is furnished with solid wooden garden furniture - ideal for a barbecue evening.



The spacious and stylishly furnished living and dining area of the BOOTSHAUS holiday home invites you to linger with a view of the terrace and garden, while an antique piano reminds you of sea shanties. On uncomfortable autumn/winter evenings, the underfloor heating throughout the basement provides cosy warmth.



The bright kitchen, which is open to the staircase, is characterised by a special charm and leaves nothing to be desired thanks to its high-quality equipment.



In addition to a large, bright bedroom on the ground floor, the second bedroom on the top floor offers a marvellous view of the starry sky. The Milky Way can be conquered from bed through a Velux window front that extends into the gables. A cosy sofa bed is available for 2 more people.



The highlight of the BOOTSHAUS is the huge bathroom, also located in the attic, as the glass rainforest shower offers an unforgettable relaxation experience with a phenomenal view of the Baltic Sea.



As a precaution, we would like to point out that there is another holiday home behind the semi-detached house as seen from the street.



Please note that this property can only be rented from Saturday to Saturday in the high and low seasons. Shorter stays are also possible in the low season. Please contact us for an offer.

Bei herrlichem Sonnenschein konnten wir 2 Wochen im Bootshaus die direkter Nähe zur Ostsee genießen. Da die Birk und die Ostsee so nah sind, kann man viel zu Fuß und per Rad machen. Auch einfach mal auf der schattigen Terasse sitzen und die Ruhe genießen. Einziges Mango, die blinden Fensterscheiben zur Terasse könnte man mal tauschen. Alle anderen Fenster sind neu. Sonst gab es nichts zu meckern.

Im großen und ganzen war der Urlaub schön. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage, doch leider ist der Zaun um den Garten nur für kleine Hunde ausbruchsicher. Unser Vizsla ist mit einem eleganten Sprung an einer Ecke darüber gesprungen. Einrichtungen ist ok, aber schon etwas abgewohnt. Für den Preis der Reinigung, könnte man mehr erwarten. Kaffeflecken war beim Einzug noch auf dem Boden in der Küche. Dusche müsste mal mit einem Spezialreiniger geputzt werden, da der Duschabfluss nicht lecker anzusehen war und auch sehr viele Kalkflecken in der Dusche waren. Die elektronische Verdunklung war leider auch auf einer Seite defekt. Beim Anruf in der Ferienagentur wurde uns wohl angeboten, das jemand vorbei kommen könnte, aber das wollten wir nicht. Sowas muss vorher überprüft werden und erledigt, bevor die Gäste ins Ferienhaus einziehen. Wir wollten einfach keine Störungen im Urlaub. Ist unsere Meinung.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus in schöner Umgebung, aber unmittelbar an der relativ lauten Strandstrasse gegenüber eines Parkplatzes. Fenster im Schlafzimmer (Untergeschoß) während der Nacht ganz zu öffnen war nicht möglich, da jeder Einsteigen könnte. Es gibt nur eine Toilette im 1. OG über eine steileTreppe. Sehr unangenehm und in der Hausbeschreibung auch nicht eindeutig ersichtlich. Hunde sind zwar erlaubt, aber das in den umliegenden Häusern nur kläffende Hunde anwesend waren, hatten wir nicht erwartet, als hundelose ruhesuchende Urlauber. Alles in allem ist dieses Haus für uns maximal mit 3 Sternen zu bewerten.
