Situated on shore in a central location with many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent. Room was fine, if basic. Hotel has a small parking lots a few hundred meters distant. On street parking looks doable. The hotel offered a nice farewell gift. Overall, pleasant. It undoubtedly will be nicer when weather is warmer, the pool is usable, and the activity on the shore is busier.

Fantastic experience all around. The coziness, cleanliness, and tranquility of this place are unmatched. It seems like the cleaning service is tasked with making the property feel brand new and untouched after every daily cleaning. Just a few steps from an amazing beach, a one minute drive to the supermarket and bakery, and all the best restaurants Plakias has to offer are within 1-15 minute drive/walk. I hate advertising this place because I want it to be all mine! Worth every penny.

Nautilux was great ! We stayed here for our honeymoon. The hotel location is perfect in reythmno. A nice stroll along the beach adjacent to all the stores , dining , bars etc. The Nautilus suite was spacious clean and direct view to the sea. Buffet was decent. Wouldn’t call it a 5 star buffet though. Drinks were 5 star however. Direct access to beach. Beach is sandy but becomes rocky once you’re in the water. Staff were great and friendly. Entertainment was a 3 out of 5 and not daily. Rooms...

This is an excellent hotel located within walking distance of city center. We had a party of three, so we received a two room suite, which was excellent. The breakfast was great - had plenty of choices. The suite had a balcony which was a nice place to relax in the morning or evening. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

We wanted a place to call home for the days we were on Crete. Vigla Suites was conveniently located in the central part of the island. The apartment felt like living in a home, not a hotel, for our days on the island. The space was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. I already told them we will book with them again when we return to Crete.

Wonderful location an facilities. Staff was awesome! Only downside is the let locals access the pools and take up a lt of chairs at both pools limiting access for guests that stay there.

Wonderful all inclusive family resort. I was worried the beach would be rocky, but it was sandy and water was clear. Staff were friendly and attentive. Although the resort has several restaurants, all meals are served in a main dining hall. The food was still excellent and there was enough variety even for picky eaters. We were also given a choice to have one dinner at another restaurant. Room was spacious and clean. There are also 4 pools located throughout the resort and an Aqua Park. ...

Room was clean and modern, with balcony, with kitchenette, air conditioning was turning on automatically so we had to turn it off as it was come already, partial sea view which was very nice and close to the seaboard and beach; it was stormy, windy so we admired the big waves that were fascinating. Restaurant was nice and we had great included breakfast buffet and we ate one time dinner and had discount from expedia, food was nice and well served. Within short distance many restaurants and...

When is the best time to book a hotel with a pool in Gerakari?
You may want to consider a place to stay that offers an outdoor pool if you plan to visit Gerakari in the hottest months of July, August, or September when the average temp is 78°F. Lodging with an indoor pool may be the way to go if you visit during the coldest months of January, February, or March when the average temp is 57°F.
