"We had the most amazing holiday in Almyrida. Villa Iannis was beautiful and the restaurants served great food. We particularly liked Psaros and Francois. The villa was spotless, the pool was bigger than we anticipated and Jan was so kind, helpful and just very lovely. We will be back! The only issue for us was the layout. You can’t see the pool from the villa and there were a lot of steps but our children are 11 and 14 so it was fine for us. Thank you Jan, Dimitra and the Almyrida team ❤️😊"

"I am struggling to find works to describe our stay. We have spent last 5 years organising business trips which ranged from 16-30+ people and this has been an absolute show stopper. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, so close to the beach and some brilliant restaurants. The on hand service from Etouri is excellent to the point we have already booked another stay with them for next year. Sofia who manages the villa is ever so lovely and ever so helpful with anything. "Villa and everything about the property is as you can see on photos. House is huge, 3 bedrooms, big living room, kitchen is on the small side but has everything. We didn't even go into the pool house but I believe people can sleep there as well. Terrace outside with the garden is really nice and spacious. Pool is fantastic and clean. "The property is very well appointed and is big enough for a family of 10 to fit in very comfortably. There are just a few points to mention, you will need a car if staying at this villa as the local town is a good 20-30 minute walk away. Some of the indoor furniture and work surfaces have seen better days but we were impressed with the twice weekly cleaning and the attention to detail. The garden and pool are very well kept. "Villa Tamos is a wonderful, well-equipped, spacious villa in a beautiful setting and we absolutely loved our time there. The pool is as perfect as the view and grounds and Stuart and Lorraine were super-helpful hosts. The villa is well located for exploring Crete and the restaurants/bars/shops of Almyrida are only ten minutes drive away. There is a long unmade track to the property, which needs driving with care, but it's well worth it, and we hope to return one day! Thank you for everything....

"The villa is right by the sea, is spacious, has great internet and air con in all of the bedrooms. Lovely views and sunsets every night. Swimming pool is large and great for families. If you want to spend time in your villa and potter it’s perfect. Only 30 mins to Falasarna beach which is the best we visited - v clear water for snorkelling. Sun beds a little pricey but ok if you plan to stay for a few hours. With the seclusion comes the sight downside that the nearest minimart is around 25...

"We loved this villa which accommodated our large group perfectly, although the sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable and creaky. The pool was amazing as was the short walk to a semi private beach or a little bit further to a bustling but still reasonably quiet public beach with lounge chairs. Our concierge, Mary was very welcoming and helpful throughout the whole stay. Would definitely stay here again."
