Very kind staff!

My stay at Stella was amazing. The host, Shuji, was kind enough to make himself available for when I arrived, to make sure the check in process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean. Although men only had one shower to share (there is more than one men’s only toilet), I never waited to use it, nor did I make anyone else. Very nice staff, free coffey every morning, quiet dorm with nice view from window. Nice walking area and bakery nearbuy. Calm stay in nature with all comforts. Highly recommend.

I had an lovely time staying here. It was a perfect spot as a solo traveler. The area is beautiful and a short walk to so many great spots in kanazawa. The host was so kind and answered any questions i had. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We loved this simple hostel for our family of four’s time in Takayama. Friendly staff, a free load of laundry for three nights stay. Amazing location near the train and bus and walkable to Old Town. Delightful.

Super clean and cozy place. They were great but Expedia wasn’t with this one. I thought I was getting single Japanese style room with share bathroom. I arrived and found out I’m in mix dormitory. Picture shows you single room and information was single room with share bathroom until I arrived there. I don’t think junk it had anything to do with the place. They were all great. This is my second time staying here, the staff were amazing, the place was very clean and convenient.

Everything was very clean and the staff were helpful in checking me in. I let them know in advance I would be late and they guided me. It was also useful to have a convenience store nearby.

Overall really great experience

This hostel hits all the main points. The staff was friendly and all the facilities were neat and clean. Location is not bad. It is located in a street market area with some close by food and convenience stores. There is also a cafe downstairs that serves food and drinks. Approximately a 20 minute walk from the main Nagoya train station, if you're a fast walker. Definitely would recommend!

My husband and I loved this place! We will definitely be back. We booked the private room with two twin beds. The showers are shared but there’s a door for privacy. It’s quite and comfortable. Very clean and lovely staff.

Great staff, clean room and quite

Basic hostel, very good for the price. Loved being able to sleep on a futon on the tatami mats. Only negative was there didn't seem to be any hot water for the shower at night, but given the heat, maybe this was not such a bad thing. The host, Mu, was lovely.
