"This hotel is perfect in every way! It is furnished in a tasteful mid century way. The check-in was was quick and efficient. My room has everything I need: A queen-sized bed with fresh linens and lots of pillows. A large upholstered side chair, and plantation shutters on the window to block out light. A closet, flat screen t.v., and a good-sized bathroom. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is conveniently located right next to a Denny’s and an In & Out burger restaurant. A nice breakfast...

"My sister was with us and the guy at the counter was rude about her being charged a $10 extra fee since we didn’t know if she was going to be coming up north with us. On the website it said children 17 and under are free. Also said extra adult is $5 a person. When brought up to the attention of the guy at the front he was rude and brushed it off saying those fees don’t apply to us. That’s a third party. The room also had not been fully looked over. "Room/hotel was clean and comfortable. Parking right out front of room is great when on a motorcycle. Standard breakfast offferings. Freeway is very close but didn't hear freeway noise. Couple of fast food places close to walk to. Some homeless camps close by, but was not disturbed by anyone. Staff is helpful and friendly. Would stay here again. "

"I loved staying here! I needed a little vacation for a few days so the Kings Rest was a good pick. The owner man working the front desk was very kind. I had read some reviews before & they had said it was dirty but I don’t agree. It was very clean & my expectations were met. Yes you can hear people but that is only if they’re loud! If you turn on the AC/Heater you’ll be just fine. I would love to stay here again! "
