"The hotel was in a great location near Kyomizu-dera temple and other sites and adjacent to little quaint and traditional side streets. The guest laundry was a great amenity. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. Staff was pleasant and professional. The lobby coffee shop was super cool and even had a DJ spinning one morning. The room was lovely and modern. Nothing negative about this place!"

"This hotel was awesome! Friendly and helpful staff. The onsen was a nice experience. The room was large for a Japan hotel. The only room for improvement feedback I have is to have them have more washer and dryer machines. I had to wait 50 minutes just to get a washer. The dryer setting on the first cycle doesn’t dry clothes so two other people in front of me had to do another dry cycle. I also had to do an extra dry cycle. It was a little ridiculous having to wait so long to do some laundry. I think there could be a better system or more machines for guests. The location was perfect! Right next to a train and subway station which made it super easy to get around to all of our destinations. There is also tons of shopping and wonderful restaurants in walking distance. Overall, this was our favorite place that we stayed at on our trip. It was very nice!!"

"Our stay at Imperial Hotel Kyoto was excellent from start to finish. The service was outstanding— attentive and professional, with every detail taken care of. Our room was comfortable and immaculate. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the rooftop. It was such a wonderful space to relax, take in the views and enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto. It was a nice touch to our visit. Overall, Imperial Hotel Kyoto was fantastic. From the beautiful surroundings and excellent service to the unforgettable rooftop, we loved it all! We would absolutely love to stay there again on our next visit to Kyoto and will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends if they plan to travel to Japan."
