"Had a fab experience at this hotel. It was very traditional (which is the reason we booked it). Loved experiencing the onsen. Lots of free extras including ramen and ice creams. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!"
"Great location, good food options, nice wel connected neighborhood with lots of sights, centrally placed. Helpful kind staff and flexible room cleaning options. No laundry in room but paid laundry on site that was free at off hours. Would stay again. "
"This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and spacious. There were 2 restaurants and a bakery/ cafe on the main level. It was too hot to spend time on the roof deck but it was lovely and the food looked delicious.
Staff were very helpful with dinner reservations and forwarding our luggage to Tokyo.
Sera, one of the hotel staff was especially helpful when my daughter needed to be seen by a medical doctor. She called for us and arranged for her to be seen before the office closed.
I highly recommend this hotel."
"Spacious compared to other hotels in the Kyoto station area. Very quiet inside, despite being built within the station. Little kids will enjoy watching the Shinkansen run on the track from the rooms!"
