"Beautiful and relaxing stay at Montigo Resorts over Easter. The staff were friendly and helpful, the property and the grounds are beautiful. The spa was really special, not busy and a real treat. Breakfast was plentiful and not too busy. We'd definitely come back!"

"The property is in the middle of town so very convenient for a look around the following day. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us in the room (69 year olds). The beds were comfy and clean as was the bathroom. The decor was a little sad in the rooms but the comfort and price more than met expectations. My biggest concern was that we were put in the 2nd floor, with no lift and I have big mobility problems and struggled to get up and down the stairs. When asked if there was a similar room on the bottom floor I was told it was for two adults and a child only. I feel this is discriminating against disabled people (pensioners) who may not want a single room. And the risks of vacating the hotel in case of a fire would be a huge problem. To finish on a high note, the breakfast was very good, and we went back for a drink at lunch time and the food looked amazing but we were too full to eat after the size of the breakfast. "

"After an incorrect booking at another hotel - the Holiday Inn Express - IHG were on hand to help. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. At check in the member of staff explained the parking rules and confirmed a deal for reduced parking rate - Thank you Nella! I would highly recommend staying here and will be staying here again in the future! Thanks"

"Lovely stay, delightful old building. Clean comfortable room Staff all welcoming and friendly. Came with a friend however just the type of place you could come on your own for a few days and feel comfortable in your own space."

Hotel clean / modern Good bar Great food Breakfast exceptional Grounds excellent The only negative for me and the one reason I will not be staying again is - they are a rural site and charge for parking £12/night (£12 for my stay). Personally I don’t mind paying a fee in a city where there is a choice but in a rural location it is not acceptable- a real shame. Suggesting to hotel. Add a parking barrier for the residents and add the fee to the room stay to hide the fee and give a clear spend to the stay. "
