"Stay was good. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet (top floor). Bathroom was spacious and towels so big & fluffy! Breakfast was just OK. Someone needs to go through the dining space with a duster, because there were cobwebs along the windows."

"The room was good. Check in was fine but staff were so very busy, it was a bit rushed. However staff were very pleasant even though under a lot of pressure . We ate in the bar (not a restaurant). My partner had gammon which was fine but my fish and chip meal was not very good. Overall just taking the room into account it was good value for money. The bar food was a disappointment."

"Parking very limited, stayed in room 14 but had frosted windows above the door which let the light from outside in. Doors were hinged doors so had to be slammed to shut. Quite noisy at times of the night. Was a budget stay so didn’t expect the ritz but the room was adequate "

"The room was clean and tidy, spacious, bed was lumpy, and there is a green light on all night so room is never dark. Staff were very polite and friendly. Restaurant was very hit and miss with there opening times. But plenty of other Restaurants outside hotel. Breakfast had limited cereals, cooked breakfast had overcooked sausages and bacon and was overpriced at £17. Register your car at reception for free parking, this is a bonus for being so close to sea front. If you have a room overlooking square then be aware that the bar opposite is open with music until 2.30am."
