"Was taken a back to be challenged when i suggested it seemed unusual to set me a room up for 1 adult and 1 child with a shared bed. Was easily fixed by a very customer first house keeping member after enduring an education on processes that had to be followed by the reception. The fact i was made to feel uncomfortable for challenging this set the tone of the brand. It was an easily fixed problem in the end so no idea what to say. Perhaps an off day but 2 out of 2 tries with this business suggests a rethink on your customer first freedom within a framework policies. "

"Accommodation was ok and staff were friendly, clean rooms couldn’t ask for much more. The restaurant let the hotel down. Firstly when my husband asked about booking a table the first waiter wasn’t friendly. We ordered a mocktail which never came we had to query it before they realised it’s because they ran out of mint. The food was ok but expensive, not many vegetarian options. They advertised sticky toffee pudding which was actually syrup pudding with a pot of toffee sauce. I was gutted was so looking forward to it ask don’t eat puddings often. when I queried it the waiter they thought I was weird, I suggest you google sticky toffee pudding recipe! Great that children under 5 eat free but no vegetarian option on the menu, we had to ask, when it came out it was missing veg which was advertised. Breakfast was ok, although the cooked breakfast buffet had no vegetarian options and they used caged eggs! Shameful i hope they find it in their conscious to move to free range. Would stay in the accommodation again but would find somewhere else to eat!"

"Place is basic and ok. Shower is fine (not great) and bathroom generally is plastic and very basic. This is a very basic airport hotel, overpriced for what it is. "

"We were in Southampton to visit a family friend and this rental was 5 minutes away. It was a beautiful, quiet and comfortable location. Watching the foals chase each other or run with their mothers was so enjoyable! We were 20 min from the edge of the New Forest National Park and visited Beaulieu and Lymington for nice walks and delicious food! Bellord and Brown was an excellent brunch and the Fisherman’s Rest was an excellent dinner! We were also an easy drive from Salisbury and Stonehenge. Nearby in Eastleigh, we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Lakeside Cafe and took some tasty cake to go! Steve was a wonderful Host and appreciated the thoughtful pantry items to get us started. We loved the all in one kitchen appliance that allowed us to enjoy filet mignon and scrambled eggs with our morning coffee. Bonus - all the manuals for the appliances were there in a drawer to know how to go from using a microwave to a grill or convection oven. We look forward to coming back to stay here again next year!
