"We had booked the Urban Hotel which was at the back of three hotels all in the same group. We followed the signage and arrived into a hotel which looked like it was used for asylum seekers. It was all chaotic. A man in a track suit came over after to us as we looked a bit lost due to no reception and informed us that there had been an issue and we are UPGRADED to the main hotel. We headed over to the main hotel to then be shown to the third one which was a residential hotel. The room was lovely, great amenities and spacious. Beds were comfortable and could not fault our stay in the room at all. We have a pool loving daughter so this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. On arrival we were told this was closed due to issues. When we went back across to the main hotel which is shown on all the photos we found the receptionist to be not too helpful and short with us. We asked about a bus into town and she told us only the shuttle to the airport for £5 each. There is in fact a bus station which is about 15 mins walk. Please make it clear when booking that URBAN is currently not in use so other people do not venture to the other side and have the same first experience as us. You need to also make it clear that the shuttle back to the airport is at a cost. We booked the hotel due to the free shuttle as we were staying a few days to explore Amsterdam. "

"Airport Shuttle was very convenient and easy to use. The buffet breakfast was convenient and the later than usual check-out time and longer breakfast hours were an advantage when travelling with kids."

"The room had a few issues (the sink did not drain, there was only one shower towel, the tv remote didn't work, the tissue dispenser was empty). We'd had a long travel day, and it was late and since the stay was only for one night we stayed in the room. While these were minor issues, you would think they would have been resolved prior to our checking in."

"Room was as expected, clean and efficient, though we never could get our heat to work and after several attempts with the person on duty, we decided it was better to layer up than to risk it going on high and being too hot in the room. Temps were from 30-50 while we stayed there. The beds are NOT king size, but just 2 twins slid together, sheeted, and blanketed separately, which is NOT conducive to couples snuggling! Staff was great! It was very convenient for our purposes. Great communication up front."

"The property was amazing no faults at all however still waiting on my deposit to be put back into my account as was told by reception it was just a held payment and will bounce back in instantly as I checked out but still haven’t recieved however apart from that I had an amazing stay "
