At first I thought it was a themed hotel as the style and vibe is so distinct but the more I explored the hotel the more I felt I'd stepped back into 1800s Gothenburg. The design, the interiors and the details are so rich and inviting. The rooms are comfortable with high ceilings, neat little bathrooms with amazing water pressure. The breakfast is fantastic - such a great spread. I especially loved the yoghurt and berries! I sadly didn't get to try...

"Location was great. The hotel was close to central shopping areas and tram stops. Hotel Flora was able to check us in earlier than expected. Unfortunately, we visited Gothenburg during an exceptionally hot few days and the room did not have an AC unit. The room safe was also locked so we were not able to use it. Additionally, the shared nespresso machine for the floor had mold in its water tank so we did not use it."

"Really easy to find right next to the tram stop. The dorm rooms were great, the bunks built in so no wobbling, and each with a curtain across for privacy, individual reading lights and sockets. Ladder was a little uncomfortable/fiddly. The option to rent sheets/towel is good, but not obligatory. Check-in is via key-pad & lock-box but very simple and easy to use. I was able to drop my luggage off ahead of check-in and also leave my luggage during the day after checkout. The lounge and balcony...
